Back to Nature

If you've been following my blog lately you'll have noticed that I've been focusing more on portrait work, instead of nature photography. Today I saw this beautiful rose and just had to photograph it.

Babysitter's Journal Part 4

A few pictures from the other day. It was so warm and beautiful that I had to take pictures.

Chippy Cookies

I have had several people ask me for my cookie recipe over the last few weeks. The reason, you may ask. I cannot consume sugar with a high glycemic index, so I use a sugar, agave, which is much healthier for you (no spikes in blood sugar level). Also, I can't eat much dairy so I use half to a fourth the butter that you normally use in cookies. Lastly, just because I'm a bit of a health nut, I use flax seed (good for cholesterol levels and cancer fighter) and whole wheat (helps you stay full longer and good for digestion). You’re probably thinking, "That sounds gross!” Well, it's not. Give them a try. If you like them you'll not only enjoy a good cookie, but your body will thank you for consuming a cookie with health benefits.

Babysitters Journal Part 3

A dear friend of the family went in for a C section a few days ago. Kate and I had the privilege of watching her not quite two year old. Here are a few pictures from babysitting the little monkey.

Comical Column

My sister and I rented Toy Story 3 a few months ago and loved it. We especially liked Spanish Buzz (we couldn't stop laughing). Spanish Buzz is a perfect farce on the Spanish and their culture. Below are few of the funniest clips of Spanish Buzz. I suggest you watch these clips full screen :).
