Cold Spring

It was a colder spring than I thought it would be up north. We visited a few friends and while they were praising the warmth and suddenness of their spring, I huddled under my sweater and wondered why such desolation (most of the trees are sticks) was a good thing (though it is still quite beautiful there). Here a few photos from that part of our trip and a friends dog that was just to cute not to photograph.
